Traded Medicinal Plants of IndiaThis Portal is the outcome of a collaboration between TDU and the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew. The portal offers harmonization and scientific integrity of the botanical names (e.g. IPNI, WCVP and APG) employed for 1178 plants recorded as being traded for medicinal purposes within India (Goraya and Ved 2017)
The Portal will be expanded to include other relevant botanical and pharmacological references and classes of knowledge e.g. adulterants, substitute / alternate species and the pharmacology of medicinal plant species in the pharmacopeia published by the Govt. of India.
